Silt curtains are used in waterways to prevent pollution of the waterway by disturbed sediment. Vidgil can provide a customised floating silt curtain to meet your needs. Our floating silt curtains are manufactured to meet your requirements and can be delivered to your site ready to deploy.

Hydrocarbon booms have a highly flexible design, allowing us to mould them around machinery, stuff stormwater drains, and divert spills from entering natural waterways. Hydrocarbon booms will not absorb water or water-based liquids, which means they can also be used in wet conditions. We also stock a range of floating hydrocarbon booms, which stay afloat even when fully saturated.

Absorbent socks are filled with super absorbent polypropylene to soak up land based spills fast. Primarily designed as a barrier but can also be used in spill kits. These absorbent socks are naturally thirstier and heavy than the traditional polypropylene socks.
